Appendix B CVS コマンドの簡単な便覧

この付録は、それぞれのコマンドや機能が詳しく説明されているところへの参照とともに、cvs の実行のしかたを説明します。他の参照は、cvs --help コマンドを実行するか、Index を参照してください。

cvs コマンドは以下の様になります:

     cvs [ global_options ] command [ command_options ] [ command_args ]

標準オプション:

--allow-root=rootdir: 正しい cvsroot ディレクトリを指定します (サーバのみ) (cvs 1.9 以前にはありません)。 Password authentication server 参照。
-a: 全ての通信を認証します (クライアントのみ) (cvs 1.9 以前にはありません)。Global options 参照。
-b: RCS の位置を指定します (cvs 1.9 以前)。Global options 参照。
-d root: cvsroot を指定します。Repository 参照。
-e editor: editor でメッセージを編集します。Committing your changes 参照。
-f: ~/.cvsrc ファイルを読み込みません。Global options 参照。
-H
--help: ヘルプメッセージを印字します。Global options 参照。
-l: $CVSROOT/CVSROOT/history ファイルにログを残しません。 Global options 参照。
-n: どのファイルも変更しません。Global options 参照。
-Q: 本当に出力を抑えます。Global options 参照。
-q: 少しばかり出力を抑えます。Global options 参照。
-r: 新しい作業ファイルを読み込み専用にします。Global options 参照。
-s variable=value: 使用者変数を設定します。Variables 参照。
-T tempdir: 一時ファイルを tempdir に置きます。Global options 参照。
-t: cvs の実行を追跡します。Global options 参照。
-v
--version: cvs のバージョンと著作権情報を表示します。
-w: 新しいファイルを読み込み書き込み可にします。Global options 参照。
-x: 全ての通信を暗号化します (クライアントのみ)。Global options 参照。
-z gzip-level: 圧縮の度合を設定します (クライアントのみ)。

コマンド、コマンドのオプション、コマンドの引数:

add [options] [files...]

新しいファイル/ディレクトリを加えます。Adding files 参照。

-k kflag: キーワード展開を設定します。
-m msg: ファイルの説明を設定します。

admin [options] [files...]

リポジトリの履歴ファイルの管理です。admin 参照。

-b[rev]: 既定枝を設定します。Reverting local changes 参照。
-cstring: 註釈符を設定します。
-ksubst: キーワード置換を設定します。Keyword substitution 参照。
-l[rev]: rev か、最新のリビジョンをロックします。
-mrev:msg: リビジョン rev のログメッセージを msg で置換します。
-orange: リポジトリからリビジョンを消去します。admin options 参照。
-q: 静かに実行します。診断情報を印字しません。
-sstate[:rev]: 状態を設定します。
-t: 標準入力からファイルの説明を設定します。
-tfile: ファイルの説明を file から設定します。
-t-string: ファイルの説明を string にします。
-u[rev]: リビジョン rev か、最新のリビジョンのロックを外します。

annotate [options] [files...]

それぞれの行が修正された最新のリビジョンを表示します。annotate 参照。

-D date: date 以前で一番新しいリビジョンを annotate します。Common options 参照。
-f: タグ/日付が見つからない場合は先頭のリビジョンを使います。Common options 参照。
-l: Local、つまり現在の作業ディレクトリでのみコマンドが実行されます。See Recursive behavior.
-R: 再帰的に動作します (既定動作)。See Recursive behavior.
-r tag: リビジョン tag を annotate します。Common options 参照。

checkout [options] modules...

ソースのコピーを取得します。checkout 参照。

-A: 貼り付いたタグ/日付/オプションを元に戻します。Sticky tags と Keyword substitution 参照。
-c: モジュールデータベースを出力します。checkout options.
-D date: date のリビジョンを取り出します (貼り付きます)。Common options 参照。
-d dir: dir に取り出します。checkout options 参照。
-f: タグ/日付が見つからないと、先頭のリビジョンを使います。Common options 参照。
-j rev: 変更をマージします。checkout options 参照。
-k kflag: kflag キーワード展開を使います。Substitution modes 参照。
-l: Local、つまり現在の作業ディレクトリでのみコマンドが実行されます。See Recursive behavior.
-N: -d が指定されたときにモジュールパスを “短く” しません。checkout options 参照。
-n: モジュールプログラム (もしあれば) を実行しません。checkout options 参照。
-P: 空のディレクトリを削除します。Moving directories 参照。
-p: ファイルを標準出力に取り出します (貼り付きを避けます)。checkout options。
-R: 再帰的に動作します(既定動作です)。See Recursive behavior.
-r tag: リビジョン tag を取り出します。Common options 参照。
-s: -c と似ていますが、モジュールの状態を含みます。checkout options 参照。

commit [options] [files...]

変更をリポジトリに格納します。commit 参照。

-F file: file からログメッセージを読み込みます。commit options 参照。
-f: ファイルを強制的に格納します。再帰的動作を使用不可にします。 commit options 参照。
-l: Local、つまり現在の作業ディレクトリでのみコマンドが実行されます。See Recursive behavior.
-m msg: msg をログメッセージとして使います。commit options 参照。
-n: モジュールプログラム (もしあれば) を実行しません。commit options 参照。
-R: 再帰的に動作します (既定動作です)。See Recursive behavior.
-r rev: rev に格納します。commit options 参照。

diff [options] [files...]

リビジョン間の差分を表示します。diff 参照。以下のオプションに加えて、出力様式を変更するいろいろなオプションを受け付けます。例えば、 context diff のための `-c' です。

-D date1: 作業ディレクトと日付のリビジョンの差分を取ります。diff options 参照。
-D date2: rev1/date1 と date2 間の差分を取ります。diff options 参照。
-l: Local、つまり現在の作業ディレクトリでのみコマンドが実行されます。Recursive behavior 参照。
-N: 追加されたり削除されたりしたファイルの差分も含みます。diff options 参照。
-R: 再帰的に動作します (既定動作です)。See Recursive behavior.
-r rev1: リビジョン rev1 と作業ファイル間の差分を取ります。diff options 参照。
-r rev2: rev1/date1 と rev2 間の差分を取ります。diff options 参照。

edit [options] [files...]

監視下のファイルを編集する準備をします。Editing files 参照。

-a actions: 一時監視のための動作を指定します。引数は actions, edit, unedit, commit, all, none のどれかです。 Editing files 参照。
-l: Local、つまり現在の作業ディレクトリでのみコマンドが実行されます。See Recursive behavior.
-R: 再帰的に動作します (既定動作です)。See Recursive behavior.

editors [options] [files...]

誰が監視下のファイルを編集しているを見ます。Watch information 参照。

export [options] modules...

CVS からフィルを export するときに使います。export 参照。

-D date: date のリビジョンを取り出します。Common options 参照。

-f: タグ/日付が見つからないと、先頭のリビジョンを使います。Common options 参照。
-k kflag: kflag キーワード展開を使います。Substitution modes 参照。

history [options] [files...]

リポジトリ接続履歴を表示します。history 参照。

-a: 全ての使用者にします (既定は自分自身です)。history options 参照。
-b str: モジュール名, ファイル名, リポジトリのパスのいずれかに、文字列 str が含まれる記録のみを表示します。history options 参照。
-c: 格納された (修正された) ファイルについて報告します。history options 参照。
-D date: date から。history options 参照。
-e: 全ての記録種別について報告します。history options 参照。
-l: 最後に修正された (格納されたか、修正されたという報告) もの。 history options 参照。
-m module: module について報告します (繰り返し可能)。history options 参照。
-n module: module だけ。history options 参照。
-o: 取り出されたモジュールについて報告します。history options 参照。
-r rev: リビジョン rev から。history options 参照。 Since revision rev. See history options.
-T: 全てのタグについて報告します。history options 参照。
-t tag: tag の記録が履歴ファイルに (誰かによって) 置かれてから。history options 参照。
-u user: 使用者 user (繰り返し可能)。history options 参照。
-w: 作業ディレクトリが合わなくてはいけません。history options 参照。
-x types: types について報告します。TOEFWUCGMAR から1つ以上指定します。history options 参照。
-z zone: 標準時間帯 zone で出力します。history options 参照。

import [options] repository vendor-tag release-tags...

ベンダー枝を使用して CVS にファイルを持ち込みます。import 参照。

-b bra: ベンダー枝 bra に持ち込みます。Multiple vendor branches 参照。
-d: ファイルの修正時刻を持ち込みの時間として使用します。import options 参照。
-k kflag: 既定のキーワード置換モードを設定します。import options 参照。
-m msg: msg をログメッセージに使います。import options 参照。
-I ign: 無視するファイルです (無効にするためには ! を使います)。import options 参照。
-W spec: ラッパーです。import options 参照。

init

存在しない場合は CVS リポジトリを作成します。Creating a repository 参照。

log [options] [files...]

ファイルの履歴情報を印字します。log 参照。

-b: 既定枝のリビジョンのみを一覧表示します。log options 参照。
-d dates: 日付を指定します (範囲は d1<d2 で、それ以前の最新は d で)。log options 参照。 Specify dates (d1<d2 for range, d for latest before). See log options.
-h: ヘッダーのみを印字します。log options 参照。
-l: Local、つまり現在の作業ディレクトリでのみコマンドが実行されます。Recursive behavior 参照。
-N: タグを一覧表示しません。log options 参照。
-R: RCS ファイルの名前のみを印字します。log options 参照。
-rrevs: リビジョン revs のみを一覧表示します。log options 参照。
-s states: 指定された状態のリビジョンのみを一覧表示します。log options 参照。
-t: ヘッダーと説明文のみを印字します。log options 参照。
-wlogins: logins で指定された使用者が格納したリビジョンのみを一覧表示します。 log options 参照。

login

認証サーバのパスワードの入力を促進します。Password authentication client 参照。

logout

保存されている認証サーバのパスワードを消去します。 Password authentication client 参照。

rdiff [options] modules...

リリース間の差分を表示します。rdiff 参照。

-c: Context diff 出力様式です (既定)。rdiff options 参照。
-D date: date に基づいたリビジョンを選択します。Common options 参照。
-f: タグ/日付が見つからない場合は先頭のリビジョンを使用します。Common options 参照。
-l: Local、つまり現在の作業ディレクトリでのみコマンドが実行されます。Recursive behavior 参照。
-R: 再帰的に動作します (既定動作です)。See Recursive behavior.
-r rev: rev に基づいたリビジョンを選択します。Common options 参照。
-s: 短いパッチです - ファイルにつき一行です。rdiff options 参照。

release [options] directory

ディレクトリがもう使われていないことを示します。release 参照。

-d: 与えられたディレクトリを消去します。release options 参照。

remove [options] [files...]

リポジトリから登録を消去します。Removing files 参照。

-f: 削除する前にファイルを消去します。Removing files 参照。
-l: Local、つまり現在の作業ディレクトリでのみコマンドが実行されます。Recursive behavior 参照。

rtag [options] tag modules...

モジュールにタグ名を追加します。Revisions と Branching and merging 参照。

-a: 削除されたファイルからそうでない場合に付いているタグを消去します。 Tagging add/remove 参照。
-b: tag という名前の枝を作成します。Branching and merging 参照。
-D date: date のリビジョンにタグを付けます。Tagging by date/tag 参照。
