8.3 マージされた出力を直接生成する

-mや--mergeオプションを用いると，diff3はマー ジされたファイルを直接出力します．これは，それを生成するために edを使用するより効果的で，edが除外するテキストではな いファイルでも動作します．edスクリプトオプションを使用せずに -mを指定する場合，-A (--show-all)が仮定されま す．

例えば，コマンド`diff3 -m lao tzu tao'は(入力ファイルのコピーは see Sample diff3 Input)，以下の出力を生成します．

     The Way that can be told of is not the eternal Way;
     The name that can be named is not the eternal name.
